Edinburgh Photography Workshop
Some pictures of a personal Workshop with 2 french people in Edinburgh. I had already done a photo workshop with Corinne and Marianne on the isles of Skye. We had a good laugh during the stay, since we stayed in touch. These 2 photographers will also accompany me at my next photography workshop in Norway.
The Scottish Highlands In Campervan
I love northern Scotland. The Highlands are so empty … there is nothing to see except incredibly beautiful and wild nature. The clouds hang over the mountains, which gives very dark atmosphere. I like to lose myself in the receding valleys where hidden deer revel themselves. Atdusk or early in the morning, you might be lucky and see hundreds of deer.
Tantallon Castle
On the East coast a few miles from Edinburgh, sits at the edge of the sea the magnificent castle of Tantallon. This fortress from the mid-fourteenth century offers breathtaking views of the island of Bass Rock famous for these gannets.

The Scottish islands are often overlooked and yet they offer a variety of landscapes that can be very diverse. Harris & Lewis does not escape this rule! All Scotland is united on an island ... mountain, loch, glen, paradise beach with white sand, cliff, everything is there!

A Surfing Day With Quentin
First surf session with Quentin on the Scottish east coast. This young French is talented on the water and surfed beautiful little waves under a big blue sky. I try to take shots from another angle, with my eyes. I am convinced that having a different look allows me to stand out with other photographers.

The winter in Scotland can sometimes be very rough. The rain is soaked to the bone, the cold freezes our hands, the ice can drag us, but the worst of all is the wind. Photographing landscapes becomes a real mission. Today I am taking you to the Beinn Mhor in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park where all the bad conditions are met ...
